PALATKA, FL — The College of Central Florida Patriots put on a dominant display Tuesday night, dismantling St. John's River State College in a lopsided 18-0 shutout. The contest was called after five innings due to the run rule as CF overwhelmed the Vikings (18-7, 3-3) in every facet of the game.

The Patriots' offense was relentless from the first pitch, plating five runs in the opening frame and never looking back. While the Vikings' pitching staff struggled with command—surrendering 13 walks throughout the evening—the CF bats were ready to capitalize. The Patriots tallied 10 hits in the contest, led by a balanced attack from the top of the order.

Victor Martinez paced the offense, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Ignacio Salaverria provided the extra-base power with two doubles and two RBIs in a 2-for-5 performance. Also contributing to the double-digit scoring effort were Amaury De Jesus (2-5, 2 RBIs), Balint Piros (2-3, 2 RBIs), and Tanner Swank (1-3, 2 RBIs).

On the mound, the Patriots were basically untouchable. Starter Kohl Kilcrease set the tone early, surrendering only one hit across three scoreless innings while racking up seven strikeouts. The bullpen maintained that perfection to close the door, as Caden Carroll and Peyton Fall combined to hold the Vikings hitless over the final two innings to preserve the shutout.

With the victory, the Patriots (12-11, 6-3) have climbed back over .500 and continue to build momentum in the Citrus Conference.

CF will look to carry this hot streak into Gainesville on Thursday, March 5, as they open a critical three-game conference series against the Santa Fe College Saints (12-10, 2-7). First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
