WINTER HAVEN- The College of Central Florida volleyball team is back on the winning track.
The Patriots (2-3) snapped a three-match losing skid with an impressive 25-16, 15-25, 25-23, 25-19 win over Polk State on Wednesday night.
Nathaly Alvarez (48 assists, six blocks), Yaralismar Rodriguez (31 digs), Julia Azevedo (18 kills) and Jussara Silva (14 kills, two blocks) led the way for CF, who gained a measure of revenge against the program that knocked them out of last year's state tournament in Jacksonville.
CF will be back on the court on Friday for a tri-match between Indian River State College and Palm Beach State College.
