College of Central Florida freshman Hope Jordan has been recognized for her exceptional performance during the 2025-26 season, earning a spot on the All-Citrus Conference Second Team as an at-large selection.
The honors, announced by the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA), cap off a productive debut collegiate campaign for the Bradenton, Florida native. Jordan, a versatile Catcher/Utility player, emerged as a central figure in the Patriots' lineup, providing consistent power and run production throughout the season.
Jordan appeared in all 56 games for Central Florida, leading the team in several offensive categories. She finished the year with a robust .354 batting average and a .454 on-base percentage. Her slugging percentage of .578 was bolstered by 18 extra-base hits, including nine doubles and a team-high nine home runs.
One of Jordan's most significant contributions was her ability to drive in runs; she accounted for 45 RBIs on the season, nearly double the total of any other teammate. Her disciplined approach at the plate was also evident in her 31 walks, which helped her maintain a high on-base percentage for the Patriots.
The former Manatee High School standout was one of two Patriots to receive All-Conference recognition this year, joined by teammate Kaylee Riles, who also earned Second Team at-large honors.
As a freshman, Jordan's selection to the All-Citrus Conference team highlights her as a key cornerstone for the program's future. She is expected to remain a primary offensive threat for the Patriots as they look toward the 2027 season.
