The College of Central Florida baseball team had four players honored with making the Citrus Conference All-Conference teams. The Pats third baseman Dawson Harman was named the Citrus Conference Player of the Year. This award is given to the best hitter in the conference. He also made first-team infield. Infielder/designated hitter Victor Martinez was also named to the first team as a DH. Pitcher Jay Jung earned second-team all conference. Anthony Diaz made the All-Citrus Conference Defensive team.
Dawson Harman blasted 21 home runs durning the regular season and led the patriots in multiple offensive categories: batting average (.374), on base % (.498), hits (65), doubles (16), home runs (21), RBI (57), runs (60), and hit by pitches (13). Harman has had one of the best offensive seasons in Central Florida history.
Victor Martinez also had a stellar year at the plate. He blasted nine home runs and hit .336 with a .455 on base percentage. He finished the regular season with an OPS over 1000 at 1.043, second only to Harman.
Jay Jung gave the Patriots solid innings this season both out of the bullpen and as a starter. In 49.1 innings pitched he had a 4-2 record with two saves. His 2.92 ERA and 1.12 WHIP led the Patriots. He racked up 46 strikeouts and only walked 14.
Anthony Diaz was a key peice to the Patriot defense in centerfield this season and covers a ton of ground. He posted a .971 fielding percentage, making just 3 errors all season.
