Nate Pearson was promoted to the big leagues yesterday. After battling through a couple of injuries this year, Nate is back with the Toronto Blue Jays. Since returning from his injuries in August, he has primarily been pitching out of the bullpen in AAA and looks to help the struggling Blue Jays pen to make a push for the playoffs this month. The Blue Jays are currently four and a half games back from Boston for the second wild card spot in the playoffs with a month left to go in the season.
