OCALA--CF baseball pitcher Nate Pearson was named FCSAA and NJCAA Div. I Pitcher of the Week for his performance during the March 6-11 voting period.

The sophomore right-hander threw a complete-game shutout against Seminole State College on March 6, scattering two hits and striking out 10 in the outing.

Pearson (3-0), named the top JUCO pitcher in the nation according to Perfect Game, leads the state and nation with 73 strikeouts and boasts a 2.12 ERA in 51 innings, good for Top 15 in the state.
