OCALA-- The College of Central Florida women's basketball team dropped one on the road to St. Petersburg College on Saturday afternoon in St. Pete.

The Lady Patriots got out to a 18-16 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Titans went on a late, second quarter run to take a 40-27 lead at the half. SPC would go on to win it 79-62.

Sophomore center N'Mya Pierce led all Patriot scorers with 16 points, while Desiree Mack (13) and Raquel Tolbert (12) also scored in double figures.

CF will return to action on Monday, November 19 when it hosts FCSAA No. 4 Chipola College at 6 p.m.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: CF men's basketball team hosts ASA-Miami on Sunday for a matinee tipoff at 2 p.m. The men are coming off a 74-68 road win against St. Petersburg College on Friday.
