PATRIOT GYM

Athletic FacilitiesCF Softball Complex | Goodlett Field (Baseball)

Patriot Gym, with a seating capacity of 1,000, is home to the 2012 NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Champions, and the three-time Mid-Florida Conference and 2012 FCSAA State Volleyball Champions.

Originally built in 1963, Patriot Gym has been a staple in the Ocala community for all ages to enjoy quality basketball and volleyball. Bucket seats line the perimeter of the court to give fans an up-close and personal feel.

In 2011, Patriot Gym underwent a major renovation to enhance the experience for its players and fans.

New bucket seats were installed, as well as an LED message board to keep fans updated on the latest Patriot news. Brand new gym floor lining was laid, while maintaining the quality of the gym’s original wood floors. Patriot Gym is one of the few gyms in the country to still have its original flooring.

Men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams received new locker rooms, located on the south side of the gym, for their players to enjoy. They include flat screen televisions, showers and a spacious area to relax before and after practices and games. There are two additional locker rooms on the west side of the gym for visiting teams to enjoy.

A state-of-the-art training room is located in the northwest corner of the gym for all athletes to take advantage of. From pre-game wraps and post-game ice packs to whirlpools and physical therapy, CF athletes are set up with the best equipment and technology to keep them healthy and at the top of their game.

At the conclusion of the 2013 season, a media tower was added for home and away media to enjoy a birds-eye view of the court. The newly-designed room contains multiple outlets for radio and television alike to stream and broadcast games.

Known as one of the finest facilities in the FCSAA and NJCAA, Patriot Gym was awarded the FCSAA Men’s and Women’s State Basketball championships from 2013-2015.
